Nursery Assitant - Early Years Educator

Level 2 or 3 

 

Our welcoming and friendly team are excited about the opportunity to welcome a new Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, supporting them in providing the best possible start in life for our 
children. To be eligible for this position, you need to have a Level 3 Childcare qualification and 
demonstrate prior experience in working with children.

 

Start date: September 2024

Hours: Full time/Part time
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £12 per hour 

This position is available on a zero-hour contract basis. Candidates should be aware that the 
hours of work are not guaranteed and may vary depending on operational needs. 
This arrangement provides flexibility for both the employee and the employer, with work 
hours assigned on an as-needed basis. This basis may change in the near future to a 
permanent contract.

What to expect as an Nursery Early Years Educator

 

• In your role as a keyworker, you'll be responsible for meeting the unique needs of each child.

• Offering support to parents with any SEND requirements. 

• Take charge of observing, assessing, and planning for your assigned children in accordance 

• with EYFS guidelines, providing stimulating and developmental next steps. 

• Emphasize the importance of encouraging and acknowledging children's progress and 

• accomplishments. 

• To take part in continuous training and development to ensure the well-being and safety of children and others.
